Her repertoire spans from the Early Baroque to the Late Romantic era, and she excels on both Baroque and Romantic violins, as well as the viola and violoncello da spalla.
Based in The Hague, The Netherlands, Tomoe's schedule for the 2023/24 concert season is filled with performances across the Netherlands, featuring collaborations with PRJCT Amsterdam, Nieuw Bach Ensemble, and Erik Bosgraaf.
A prolific performer and a vital member of various European ensembles, Tomoe (pronounced Toh-Moh-Eh) has graced the stage as the concertmaster of the Bremer Barockorchester (BBO), collaborating with exceptional guest soloists, including Dmitry Sinkovsky, Midori Seiler, and Leila Schayegh. As a soloist, she contributed to the highly acclaimed album BACH to the Roots! — BBO's debut CD, showcasing the rarely performed virtuosic J.S. Bach violin concerto BWV1052R.
Recently, Tomoe took the lead as the leader of the 2nd orchestra and as a soloist in J.S. Bach's St. Matthew Passion, collaborating with the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra under the direction of Ton Koopman. This memorable event culminated in a captivating live recording for Dutch national TV.
Her collaboration with the ensemble Los Temperamentos, renowned for their expertise in Latin-American baroque music, highlighted her talents on both the violin and the rare violoncello da spalla as a Basso Continuo in the album Entre Dos Tiempos (2019).
Tomoe's performance of Telemann's viola concerto with BBO has received resounding applause, underscoring her diverse skill set.
A pivotal moment in her career was her role as the founding member and first violinist of Les Esprits Animaux. In 2016, the group achieved an extraordinary feat by securing all four prizes at the Van Wassenaer Competition, including the 1st prize, press awards, youth awards, and early music season awards.
